The Embodied Breath workshop is an intimate exploration of the whole field of yoga practice where we learn to harness the subtle energetic dynamics of our body, our feeling, our mind, and beyond.

In this immersive workshop, we explore the breath and energy as a gateway to greater clarity, emotional resilience, and embodied presence. Through guided breath-work, mindful movement, and somatic awareness practices, you will reconnect with, and come to understand the innate inner wisdom unfolding within you.
The workshop offers simple and practical tools to regulate your nervous system, refine your sensitivity, and encourage you to live from a place of authenticity and ease.

Part One - Embodied Movement
GRAVITY, GROUND AND SPACE
Discovering the natural dynamics of energy in Asana
​
We begin with an exploration of how gravity can assist us in grounding our asana practice. Finding ground is foundational for releasing the spine and breath from habitual self contraction and opens the way for uncovering the natural self-organising dynamics of energy in the body. When our energy is grounded, open and clear, the subtler aspects of practice become available. We will do this through mindful exploration of how energy moves in the body to support our asana practice.
Part Two - Embodied Breath
PRANA, BREATH AND MIND
Pranayama & Yoga Psychology

Pranayama is an intimate exploration of the subtle dynamics of our inner lives. We are not simply breathing with Pranayama practice, we are cultivating a refined capacity for feeling and an exquisite sensitivity to the responsive intelligence of life. When the spine and breath are free of habitual self contraction, so is the mind. This opens the way for deeper and more intimate encounters with the immediate felt reality of our lives.
